Crime Report Hucknall and the Rural Villages for the week to Thursday 10 January 2019

Crimes reported over the past seven days.

Burglary Dwelling
At some time between Saturday 29 December 2018 and Thursday 3 January 2019 in Bestwood Road, Hucknall, an attempt was made to break into a house by smashing a conservatory window.

At some time between Monday 17 December and Friday 4 January 2019 in Wood Lane, Hucknall, a property was entered by smashing a rear window.  We do not know at this time if anything was stolen.

Between midnight and 9.00am on Tuesday 8 January in Station Road, Selston, a garage and shed was broken into.  Nothing was stolen.

Burglary Other
Overnight Monday 7 and Tuesday 8 January at Harron Homes, Watnall Road, Hucknall the outer gates of a compound were forced and the site office and a container were broken into.  We do not know at this time if anything was stolen.

At 9.15pm on Friday January 4 in Sherwood Gate, Papplewick Lane, Hucknall, a builders site office was broken into and a Samsung S5 mobile phone stolen.

At 9.15pm on Sunday 6 January at JTF Cash & Carry, Daniels Way, Hucknall, the building was broken into.  We do not know at this time if anything was stolen.

At 2.50pm on Monday 7 January at Broomhill Junior School, Broomhill Road, Hucknall, a storage shed was broken into.  We do not know if anything was stolen.

Theft of motor vehicle
Between 5.00pm on Thursday 3 and 8.00am on Friday 4 January in Chatsworth Court, Hucknall, a blue BMW Coupe was stolen from the roadside.

Between 7.30pm on Sunday 6 and 6.30am Monday 7 January in Florence Street, Hucknall, a black Ford Fusion was taken from the roadside.  It was later recovered nearby.

Theft from motor vehicle
At around 10.05pm on Friday 4 January in Holly Hill Road, Selston, a white Vauxhall Vivaro van was broken into. A Paslo nail gun, and a large quantity of DeWalt, Makita and other makes of power tools were stolen.

Between 7.00pm and 7.05pm on Tuesday 8 January in the Tesco Extra car park, Ashgate Road, Hucknall, a laptop computer was stolen from the boot of a red Fiat 500.

Between 4.00pm on Tuesday 8 and 7.00am on Wednesday 9 January in Wood Lane, Hucknall, the rear window of a black Vauxhall Vectra Estate was smashed and two fishing rods and a fishing tackle bag stolen.

Theft
Between 3.00pm and 4.00pm on Friday 4 January at the retirement homes on Palmerstone Street, Underwood, Christmas lights on the face of the building were stolen.  A yellow van was seen leaving the incident.
